BLACK TO THE FUTURE
LA has been hotter than the devil's armpit lately, with no sign of Fall to come whatsoever. (Insert sad emoji)
Even though the heat is disagreeable I still wanted to wear this sweatshirt - a vintage Howard University joint from my family Miranda & Touch at 4SOSA (the best !!!!!) I've always worn what i've wanted regardless of the weather. I picked this up growing up in Anchorage, Alaska - wearing mini skirts and flip flops with a North Face just because I felt deprived of trends other young girls were able to wear in California. Hahah it's funny looking back on those days, when I would walk through a snow trail to the bus stop in a pink sequin flip flop. I was and always have been that way, if I want to wear it (rain sleet snow or shine) it's going to happen!
My big sister went to HU so I have a soft spot for it. The denim I bought at a thrift store and I bleached it in a particular way so there are pockets of different shades of grey, black etc. My favorite pair to be honest. I also distressed the jeans as well. On my feet are some NIKE ACG boots I also thrifted some time ago but didn't wear until now. The air pockets are so next level!
